Most people I've helped just want to get "local" channels, when working with them I find they want local

news and the networks with or without an antenna - sharing what I've found and what we do.

Antenna info is on the "your options" page link at top.

Update Jan 3 2019!

Great new service is locast.org - has Denver locals!  Just create a login, it's free.  Works great on PC,

they also have a Roku app (and the other streaming devices too).   Has a handy guide and even has the

PBS channels too.  https://www.locast.org/markets/?dma=751       Here's a snapshot -

Here's how to watch local news.  All the Denver channels offer free online live broadcasts during normal news times.
A few have Roku apps as well, just follow the link, click "+add channel" and then update your roku to see the new apps.  The only oddness is the commercial breaks - either you get the same one's every break or nothing at all...

KWGN channel 2 Denver - they have a tower in Ft. Collins, so you might be able to pull this one in via antenna if you
don't get it from the Denver/Lookout Mountain tower.  If not during live broadcast time, they replay the last newscast -

CBS4 Denver - CBS has CBS All-access, $5.99 a month - the live feed has news, sports and well, everything from channel 4.  Sometimes sports games are blacked out.  It also offers on-demand viewing of current and classic tv, they've also added movies now too.   They have a 7-day trial, so try it out and see if you like it!

I recommend CBSN - live news 24x7 and Weathernation - like Weather Channel, but free!

Roku apps for the main networks
Most have the latest episodes of shows available within a week and ondemand past
episodes for free.   CBS is the exception here, need the all-access app for $5/month

The streaming services are slowly adding local channels!

PS Vue, an app for Roku or you can use your Playstation 4, has CBS, ABC and NBC.

Directv NOW, Hulu Live TV and Youtube TV also offer locals now too!

Suppose.tv is a great website to check which services carry what locals!   Here's

a snapshot of a search August 2018:
